The easiest way to know what face shape you have is to pull your hair back, take an eyeliner or lip pencil, look in the mirror, and trace the outline of your face.

 Your face shape really depends on 2 basic factors. The different points/corners of your face and the lines that could be drawn because of these points.

The points include:
1)The top center of your forehead is where the hair starts.
2)The two sides where your jaw makes a corner at the level of your mouth on both sides.
3)The tip of your chin.
4)The two corners of your forehead
5)The end of your cheekbones

The lines are basically
1)The vertical center
2)The horizontal center
3)The forehead line
4)The jawline

Your face shape is determined by the proportion of these 4 lines resulting from those 8 points that could be picked out of your face.

Because of this, there are basically 6 types of face shapes.

Types of face shape

The Oval face shape.

Long /long Oval face shape.

Square face shape.

Round face shape.
